ou know that studies also suggest that 20% of our civilians struggle with PTSD from surviving a life-threatening event?
PTSD information is my passion. Since my recovery from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder I have dedicated my career to helping inform the public and the media about how to recognize PTSD and what to do about it.
I began this mission by launching the www.healmyptsd.com web site, and then by training to become certified to help others on their journey toward recovery.
Why am I so passionate about PTSD education and awareness? Because for 24 years I struggled with extreme symptoms of PTSD and no one correctly diagnosed me. Including the time it took me to recovery, I lost over 25 years of my life to PTSD. I want others not to do that!
