Dear Media Professional:
Did you know that studies estimate that up to 40% of our veterans return from Iraq and Afghanistan with PTSD? Did you know that studies also suggest that 20% of our civilians struggle with PTSD from surviving a life-threatening event?
PTSD information is my passion. Since my recovery from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder I have dedicated my career to helping inform the public and the media about how to recognize PTSD and what to do about it.
I began this mission by launching the www.healmyptsd.com web site, and then by training to become certified to help others on their journey toward recovery.
Why am I so passionate about PTSD education and awareness? Because for 24 years I struggled with extreme symptoms of PTSD and no one correctly diagnosed me. Including the time it took me to recovery, I lost over 25 years of my life to PTSD. I want others not to do that!
Thank you for visiting here today and expressing an interest in possibly including me as a guest or interview for your media outlet. As a survivor-turned-go-to-expert on PTSD symptoms, causes, facts and stats, plus treatment options and self-empowered healing, I have a variety of topics that I bring to the table. I can provide article support, quotes, resources, feature submissions and insight from personal and professional experience. In my practice I see survivors making progress and overcoming PTSD every day.
By clicking this link to the Michele Rosenthal PTSD media kit you will see a PDF to review. It includes available topics for commentary as well as my biography. If you don’t see what you need, please ask me! I have an extensive network; if I don’t possess the information you seek, chances are I know someone who does.
I look forward to possibly working with you to educate your audience on the topics of PTSD and self-empowered healing. The more we spread the word the more people will heal faster.
