Healing the Wounds of the Past Through Guided Imagery

Post traumatic stress disorder doesn’t just affect the sufferer; it’s long-lasting and ever-present effects can devastate entire families. This study, conducted by the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine, determined that healing touch combined with guided imagery reduced symptoms of both PTSD and depression and improved the quality of life for active-duty soldiers.
This calming approach will help ground you in your own body and explore your pain to discover the part of yourself that can never be destroyed. From here, you can learn to overcome the pain and set yourself on the path of healing, recovery and absolute peace.
