Treatment [for PTSD] needs to address… helping [survivors] 1) regain a sense of safety in their bodies, and 2) complete the unfinished past.

What would give you a sense of safety in your body?

    This subject is why I’m heading back to therapy. I must find a way to find a safe place within myself. In general, there’s no guarantee of safety in this world, so this sense of security must be built on the cornerstone of my brain.

    @Donna — NLP is a great way to build safety into the brain…. You might try it if tradiitonal therapy doesn’t get the job done.
