Want to see a survivor in action? Over on Mike’s Musings the man himself and I are having an interesting conversation (scroll down to see the ‘Comments’ section) about the purpose and point of understanding who we were before trauma, who we are afterward, and how and who we choose to become in the future.
Mike’s spending at least an hour a day with a PTSD workbook and it’s bringing up some interesting things. He’s documenting his workbook experience in posts like this one, ‘Avoiding Avoidance‘, which contains interesting info about the brain, plus examples of what the workbook entails and Mike’s reaction to it.
You can learn many things eavesdropping on someone else’s conversations! You might even hear a tidbit you can use in your own healing…
